On 10th January 2008, Defra confirmed Avian Influenza in three dead wild mute swans in the Chesil Beach area in Dorset. A 3km Control Area and a 10 km Monitoring Area has been established around the location, encompassing Chesil Beach and Portland Bill. Read more »
